Hotels in Bratislava

Participants are requested to book accomodation themselves. Bratislava has a wide range of places to stay at and enjoy, and everyone who feels like exploring is welcome to consult the numerous search engines. One of them can be Bratislava Tourism Website.

We would like to recommend the hotel Sorea Regia which is very conveniently located between the downtown and the conference venue. It is easy to get to the conference venue by a bus (any) or by a tram (any) from the closest bus/tram stop, it is necessary to go 2 stops and then follow one of the (walking) trails indicated on the map bellow.

Here is the schema of local transportation. To reach the conference venue, you should get either to "Botanická záhrada" (bus, tram) or to "Zoo" (bus only). It is also possible to use taxi, Hopin, Uber.

Visa issues

Note that citizens of some countries need visa to enter Slovak Republic. To learn more in this respect, please visit the official website of the Ministry of Interior, and double-check with your local Slovak consulate. We may send an invitation letter upon request to participants provably working in algebra or a related field. If you need one, let us now well in advance by email (not just in the registration form), as processing takes an unpredictable amount of time. Slovak Republic is a part of the Schengen group, hence, any Schengen visa shall allow you to enter Slovak Republic (again, double-check with your consulate).
